Program Details:

Eligibility Requirements:

  • To be considered for the JPA Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • - Be fluent in English.
  • - Proficiency in one or more of the Bank’s working languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish) is a plus.

Program Duration and Prospects:

  • - JPA positions may be located in various World Bank offices across the globe.
  • - It's important to note that a JPA assignment is not an entry point for a long-term career at the World Bank. After the two-year contract, employment with the Bank is prohibited for two years. However, some former JPAs may return to the organization later in their careers, having gained expertise in their respective fields.
