Eligibility Criteria:
- - Citizen of the Kingdom of Tonga, in good mental and physical health.
- - Under 25 for undergraduate, under 35 for master’s, under 40 for doctoral, under 45 for general scholar programs, and under 50 for senior scholar programs.
- - Chinese proficiency as per HSK Level requirements.
- - Meeting admission criteria of applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency, and other relevant criteria.
Application Documents:
- a) Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship.
- b) Copy of Passport Home Page.
- c) Notarized highest diploma.
- d) Academic transcripts.
- e) Language qualification certificates (e.g., HSK, IELTS, TOEFL).
- f) Admission documents from applied universities.
- g) Study Plan or Research Proposal.
- h) Two recommendation letters.
- i) Example of Art for art or design-related majors.
- j) Documents of legal guardians in China for applicants under 18.
- k) Photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form for stays over 6 months.
- l) Non-criminal record report issued within 6 months.
