5.Leadership: Join the student-led Dance Society for leadership opportunities.
6.Academic Rigor: Present your research and choreography at a Student Showcase or Senior Capstone.

Scholarship Opportunities at CMU:
CMU is committed to making higher education affordable. Over 50% of first-time students received scholarships during the 2022-2023 academic year.
-Merit Scholarships:Available for qualifying new freshmen. Up to 24 accepted college credit hours from another institution are considered.
Eligibility Criteria (Fall 2023 and Spring 2024):
Distinguished Scholar (Colorado Resident): Tuition coverage - 3.75 GPA, Top 5% of class, ACT 29 or SAT 1340.
- Distinguished Scholar (Out-of-State Resident): $6,000 - Same criteria as Colorado Resident.
- Presidential: $3,500 - 3.50 GPA, Top 15% of class, ACT 25 or SAT 1210.
- Academic Achievement: $1,250 - 3.20 GPA, Top 25% of class, ACT 22 or SAT 1110.
Renewal Information:
Merit Scholarships are renewable based on meeting minimum requirements, including completing a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester and maintaining a minimum cumulative CMU GPA.

- View and accept your Financial Aid award.
- Choose the academic year, click the “Award Offer” tab, and select your decision.
