Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the Daniels Scholarship Program, students must meet the following criteria at the time of application:
- - Be a graduating high school senior.
- - Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.
- - Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- - Attain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in high school (on an unweighted 4.0 scale).
- - Achieve minimum SAT/ACT scores as specified.
- - Meet financial eligibility requirements.
Financial Eligibility Details:
Applicants must demonstrate financial need with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $100,000 or less on the 2022 federal tax return on which they are claimed as a dependent. Additional income allowances apply for each dependent.

What Does the Daniels Scholarship Cover?
Daniels Scholars enjoy full coverage of their cost of attendance (COA) at partner schools within Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. If attending a school outside this region, scholars can receive up to $25,000 annually for qualified educational expenses.
Funds can be allocated to tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies, and miscellaneous educational expenses. A laptop computer is provided, and ongoing support is extended before, during, and after college.

Daniels Scholars are expected to:

- - Stay on track to graduate with a bachelor's degree within four academic years.

- - Maintain regular communication with the Daniels Fund.
- - Adhere to the Daniels Scholar Code of Conduct.
- - Attend the Daniels Fund's new scholar orientation conference in June.
Application Process and Selection Timeline:
- Applications must be submitted online between September 15 and October 15, 2023.
- Semi-Finalists will be required to submit essays, letters of recommendation, and eligibility documents between October 20 and November 15, 2023.
- The selection process involves a thorough review of documents, interviews, and finalist notifications in January.
- Daniels Scholars are announced in late March, with an orientation conference in June.
