Important Reminders on CR/NC and Prerequisites: Students using Credit/No Credit (CR/NC) should note that it may not automatically fulfill prerequisite grade requirements. Contact the relevant department for permission codes.

Dates & Deadlines for Fall 2023:

- Oct 20: Last day to withdraw from classes

- Dec 7: Classes end

- Dec 8: Reading day

- Dec 11-15: Final exam period

- Dec 26: Final grades due

Academic Standards and Policies:

- Dean's List: Achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher for at least 12 graded credit hours in an academic term to be recognized on the Dean's List.

- Good Standing: Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0; individual departments may have additional requirements.

- Low List: Term GPA below 2.0, but cumulative GPA 2.0 or above; recommended advisor meeting.

- Warning/Registration Hold: Cumulative GPA below 2.0 results in academic warning and registration hold; completion of academic success workshop required.

- Probation/Registration Hold: Cumulative and recent term GPA below 2.0 places student on academic probation; registration hold until meeting with department and Academic Advising Center advisor.

- Suspension: Cumulative and semester GPA below 2.0 during probation leads to academic suspension; minimum three-semester hold; appeal required for readmission.

- Dismissal: Below 2.0 GPA after returning from suspension leads to academic dismissal; minimum three-semester sit-out; eligibility for readmittance through academic renewal appeal.
