FLASH: Step-By-Step Guide To Apply For Ogun State N1 Billion Grant
The Ogun State Government has initiated the second phase of the disbursement of the N1 billion grant to micro and small enterprises, aiming to alleviate poverty and counter the impact of COVID-19 on businesses.
In a statement, Commissioner for Industry, Trade, and Investment, and member of the Ogun State COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus Steering Committee, Mr. Adebola Sofela, announced Governor Dapo Abiodun's directive to commence the disbursement process for the second phase.

Who Can Apply?
Micro & Small Enterprises in the following sectors:
- Retail
- Fashion
- Hair & Beauty
- Light Manufacturing
- Hospitality
What the Grant is For:
- Payment of Utilities (Water, Electricity, Internet Service Subscription, etc.)
- Payment of Rent for Office, Shop, and Cold Room
- Payment of Salaries (Evidence required)
Eligible Enterprises Must:
- Be located in Ogun State
- Have a minimum of three employees
- Have been in operation for at least 2 years
- Demonstrate reduced profitability due to COVID-19 Pandemic
How to Apply:
1. Visit [NG Cares Business Portal](https://www.ngcaresbusiness.org/)
2. Select State: Choose Ogun State, then click "Go to Portal"
3. Click on "Apply" and fill in details about your business, including:
- Business name
- Type of business
- Specific business type
- Monthly sales
- Date/year of business establishment
- Phone number, email, and personal details of the head of the business
- State and Local Government Area of the business
4. Click on "Submit."
Note: Applying in multiple states or states where the business doesn't operate will lead to disqualification.
