2024 NITDA/Coursera Scholarship Programme | How to Apply

NITDA, in partnership with Coursera, is offering learning scholarships to Nigerian citizens. These scholarships will allow individuals to obtain professional certifications from renowned multinational tech companies like Meta, Google, IBM, and top-ranked US universities. Applicants are required to select one certification program from Category A and Category B that they wish to enroll in.

The NITDA/Coursera Scholarship is open to residents of Nigeria and provides full sponsorship for the chosen program. The deadline for application submission is February 10, 2024.

Category A, known as the IT Career Pathway, offers 20 professional certification programs that are designed to kickstart a successful IT career. Each program consists of a series of related courses that provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary for employment. Upon completion of each individual course, participants will receive a certificate of completion. However, the professional certification will only be earned after completing all the required courses within the program.

Category B, known as the Complementary Skills Pathway, offers 4 certification programs aimed at enhancing IT career skills and improving proficiency in digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, or freelancing skills.

The benefits of the NITDA/Coursera Scholarship include a full Coursera license for 6 months and access to numerous professional certifications.
